All of our payments are done online. We require a $50 deposit to lock in your event. The remaining booking fee, and any applicable travel fee(s), are due 7 days before your event.
Yes! When we send you your invoice, you have the option to pay by credit card, PayPal or direct bank deposit.
Your invoice will show the total booking fee plus any applicable travel fee(s). Currently, our invoice system does not allow for partial payments by credit card (eg if you want to pay the $50 deposit only). You can use our bank details to pay just the deposit and secure your booking.

For events outside of central areas, travel is calculated based on the travel time and expenses for getting to your venue. You can use our travel fee calculator to see how much your travel fee will be (if any) before you book. Our booking form also automatically includes travel fees as you input your booking details. Travel fees are charged per Butler, unless Bare Butlers is able to organise shared transport (however this will not be possible for most bookings, due to Butlers’ workloads).
We will do our best to accommodate any changes (such as time, venue or date) provided adequate notice is given. We will let you know if there are any changes to your booking fee or travel fee(s) to be aware of. You can even change the service itself, provided that we are able to find Butlers for the particular service requested at that time.
If you cancel more than 12 weeks before your event date, we will refund you in full (less any applicable credit card fees).
If you cancel between 12 weeks and 7 days of your event, we will refund all money paid towards the booking fee and travel fee (if applicable), minus the deposit and credit card fees.
If you cancel within 7 days of your event, the booking fee is non-refundable, and the travel fee (if any) will be refunded, minus any travel costs actually incurred by Butlers travelling to the venue and credit card fees.
Definitely not! We have Butlers up and down the country, but our photographer is based in Auckland. We aren’t going to add Butlers to our Butler page without a professional photoshoot done. You can let us know your Butler preferences. We will prioritise those Butlers for your event to the extent possible, and otherwise can assign Butlers based on a similar “look and feel”.
Your Butler will both host and participate in games, so you can sit back and relax while they’re on the scene.
Your Butler can certainly assist with mixing drinks and cocktails. If cocktails are a key part of your event, please let us know which drinks you’d like your Butler to mix, so we can note this in your booking details. Because not all of our Butlers have bartending experience, and we do not advertise them as mixologists, we recommend keeping your favourite recipes aside. This way, every drink will taste just as you like it!
For most games you will need to provide some inexpensive materials. After you book, you can see exactly what you need. Our Butlers may carry backup game supplies.
Start the party with a bang when your Butler strips to a G-string. Then, he will be your topless waiter for two hours.
Your Butler will both host and pose for a series of fun drawing games, tastefully nude. This activity lasts one hour.
Your topless waiter will host games and mix drinks for the first hour. Then, draw your nude model in a series of drawing games.
