PAYMENT + CANCELLATIONS

All of our payments are done online. We require a $50 deposit to lock in your event. The remaining booking fee, and any applicable travel fee(s), are due 7 days before your event.

Yes! When we send you your invoice, you have the option to pay by credit card, PayPal or direct bank deposit. 

Your invoice will show the total booking fee plus any applicable travel fee(s).  Currently, our invoice system does not allow for partial payments by credit card (eg if you want to pay the $50 deposit only).  You can use our bank details to pay just the deposit and secure your booking.

For events outside of central areas, travel is calculated based on the travel time and expenses for getting to your venue. You can use our travel fee calculator to see how much your travel fee will be (if any) before you book.  Our booking form also automatically includes travel fees as you input your booking details.  Travel fees are charged per Butler, unless Bare Butlers is able to organise shared transport (however this will not be possible for most bookings, due to Butlers’ workloads).

We will do our best to accommodate any changes (such as time, venue or date) provided adequate notice is given.   We will let you know if there are any changes to your booking fee or travel fee(s) to be aware of.  You can even change the service itself, provided that we are able to find Butlers for the particular service requested at that time.

If you cancel more than 12 weeks before your event date, we will refund you in full (less any applicable credit card fees).

If you cancel between 12 weeks and 7 days of your event, we will refund all money paid towards the booking fee and travel fee (if applicable), minus the deposit and credit card fees.

If you cancel within 7 days of your event, the booking fee is non-refundable, and the travel fee (if any) will be refunded, minus any travel costs actually incurred by Butlers travelling to the venue and credit card fees.

GENERAL

We pride ourselves on delivering professional and accessible entertainment for guests of all ages. While your Butler/s may have some (or all) of their clothes off, they maintain a high standard of conduct. Our Butlers are approachable and make every guest feel comfortable.
Not at all! Although most of our events are Hens’ parties, we are perfect for all types of function. Birthday parties, work parties, dinner parties, divorce parties, promotions staff; the works!
Your Butler will be given your contact details on the night. They will text or call you when they arrive, about 10 minutes before the scheduled time. You can then arrange a way to sneak them into a side room to get ready. Don’t worry, they’re used to this.
Yes, we have a minimum 5 guest policy.

Definitely not! We have Butlers up and down the country, but our photographer is based in Auckland. We aren’t going to add Butlers to our Butler page without a professional photoshoot done. You can let us know your Butler preferences.  We will prioritise those Butlers for your event to the extent possible, and otherwise can assign Butlers based on a similar “look and feel”.

We sure do! Travel to Waiheke Island is calculated automatically when you fill out the booking form. You can check the applicable travel fee in advance using our travel fee calculator. If you’re staying in an AirBnB, you don’t need to know your exact address in order to make a booking – just a rough idea will do.

TOPLESS WAITERS

When booking, you can indicate your preferred Butler. While we cannot guarantee particular Butlers due to schedules changing, we do guarantee that you will love whomever you get.

Your Butler will both host and participate in games, so you can sit back and relax while they’re on the scene.

Your Butler can certainly assist with mixing drinks and cocktails. If cocktails are a key part of your event, please let us know which drinks you’d like your Butler to mix, so we can note this in your booking details. Because not all of our Butlers have bartending experience, and we do not advertise them as mixologists, we recommend keeping your favourite recipes aside.  This way, every drink will taste just as you like it!

For most games you will need to provide some inexpensive materials. After you book, you can see exactly what you need. Our Butlers may carry backup game supplies.

Your Butler will arrive 10 minutes before your event time. Be sure to have your phone on you, so they may contact you when they arrive.
We have a minimum 2 hour booking for topless waiters, as we find that this time is necessary for your guests to get best value from the service. We can look to reduce this in exceptional circumstances.  Please contact us if you want to discuss a shorter booking time.

LIFE DRAWING

No. The host must provide materials for Life Drawings. You can get creative by using charcoal, pastels or even sculpting with Play-Doh. We are happy to direct you to the best place to get drawing materials when you book.
Our Life Drawings take one hour, and are made up of several fun drawing games. Your Butler will be your host and model.
Our Life Drawings are the best available in the market, hence they are our most popular service. Unlike other companies, our Life Drawings are structured with fun drawing games. We can adapt the structure of this for more serious artists.
When booking, you can indicate your preferred Butler. While we cannot guarantee particular Butlers due to schedules changing, we do guarantee that you will love whoever you get. BODY PAINTING

Just a good attitude! We provide professional grade body paint, drip sheets to protect your carpets and furniture, brushes, sponges, cleaning materials, and more.
Bare Butlers Body Painting takes one hour. The session is made up of two primary activities. Your Butler will be your host and living canvas.
We only charge for as many guests are actually present for the Body Painting. If less show up than you anticipated, we simply refund you to your bank account after your event.   If you are unsure of how many guests will turn up on the night, book for the higher number. It is easier to refund you than collect extra money on the night.

While we cannot guarantee particular Butlers due to schedules changing, we do guarantee that you will love whoever you get.   Bear in mind that not all Butlers are comfortable with all services we offer. MALE STRIPPERS

The Strip Tease itself is a performance for 3 to 5 songs. We set aside 30 minutes for the booking slot, however, to allow time for photos, banter, body shots, etc.
Ideally, you will have a decent stereo, a stable armless chair and plenty of room for your Butler’s performance. Please let us know if this won’t be the case.
You can let us know your preferred stripper costume when you book. We will do our best to honour this preference, though unfortunately we cannot guarantee that your Butler will have that costume available on the night.
